"Don't park on the graves. It will bring bad karma."
I could think of a few other reasons against parking on the graves. Yet, when we arrived cars were all over the cemetery. Vehicles were parked against tombstones the way they would normally hug the curb. In a way, though, they followed the race director's instructions to the letter; no one actually parked directly over a grave.
Maxine pooped on a grave. I lost her for several moments when she bolted after the Tamster who was picking up bibs. I nearly caught her a few times, but she kept running circles around all the parked cars. Eventually, I found her in the distance taking a good dump on someone's grave.

We picked up the Tamster's new bike.
It looks immaculate in the powder blue and white color scheme and orange Chris King accents. We had asked for white tape but the builder couldn't help himself and used bright orange. I suspect he did this with his portfolio in mind, but honestly, it competes with the anodized components. Since I'll have to adjust the levers' position for the Tamster's tiny hands, I'll switch it back to the intended white then.
"I'm more excited about this than when we got the car." I'm sure part of the reason was she was hungover and terribly sick when we picked up the Outback on the second day of January. On top of that she had to drive it from Iowa City to Chicago since I didn't even have a permit. But I think most revealing of our values is that we picked this model mostly because it's perfect for getting our bicycles to races.
We spent the rest of the day admiring the new addition to our stable; first on the roof rack and then in the living room. I'll have pictures up on steaktaco soon.
